I have two new mystery snails, first ones for me. Not sure how to check if they are male or female, but if female how long would it take for them to lay eggs?
Also, how long does it usually take for them to hatch if they are fertilised?

Lower the waterline with space at 2-3 inches or at least the size of their shell diameter. This may encourage them to lay eggs. Put a lid to avoid possible escapes. Keep the eggs warm and humid. High temperature and humidity will allow the eggs to hatch quickly. Humidity and temperature can influence the length of time the eggs hatch.

My mystery snails started to breed about the size of a nickel. That is how I determined their sex. I ended up having to move a very aggressive male from one tank to the other because they were both boys and the other one was just not going for it. LOL I have also had 7 clutches and none have been fertile. :(

every clutch of mine in the last few months gave me lots of babies. no work on my part, they laid them behind the filters and well I did not see them until they were hatched. 4 clutches so far. today I have people coming over to pick them up.I have about 100
