HI everybody I am new. I just signed up and i am also new to the mini reefing world. My girlfriends cousin gave me his 30 and his 55 gal. tanks, he is moving and could not take his tanks with him. I was more than happy to take them off his hands considering i have wanted one for a long time anyhow. the 55 gal tank is empty i am saving that for when i feel comfortable with my mini reefing skills. Right now, the 30 gal tank has a few fish in it i have to get rid of two damsels becase they are getting a little fiesty. I also have some live rock with i think green star polyps growing on them. I also have a few bubble algae pods that i have to get rid of as well. I have live sand, i guess. thats what he told me. there is also some kind of starfish in there, hes brown and kind of bumpy... cool though. Also, there is a coral banded shrimp in there as well. anyways any advice will be greatly appreciated on any subject. i hope to chat with all of you and pick your brains for advice

Hi Andy welcome to AC! I would recommend starting a thread in the marine section posting as many details about your tank (size, equipment, inhabitants, etc) as you can. Best of luck and enjoy the community!
