mine always went into hibernation, i would move them to a colder place in the house

they're pretty similer to green treefrogs, both hyla. the only difference would be in temp and maybe humidity, they like it around 75 degrees, and dont need a high humidity, just keep the substrate wet and mist two or three times a week

Yep, looks like a green phase Gray Treefrog.
 
I have considered the hibernation and I will move his tank to a cooler part of the house and decrease lighting:) He is so cute, at first I thought great my roomie wants to keep it but me take care of it, it's cool though because it's cute:)
