I've been through quite a learning experience with this tank, and I think I'm finally happy with the decoration, plant selection and layout. Comments are welcome, let me know what you think :)

Sounds like you've got a suggestion for improvement - I'm all ears er... eyes ;)
The tank looks considerably better in person, this is the best pic I could get but it gives a good idea of the general layout. Feel free to offer criticisms, that's one of the ways I learn.

It looks great Blinky. Actually it looks like you need another one.

Would like to see more color variation. From the specs it looks like it is there but I don't see it. Is that the jpg?

Very, very nice and clean. The wood will look super cool when it's covered in fern, if that's your plan.

I can't really give any suggestions because I'm guilty of always moving plants and trying to get the perfect look. Which, actually I will never achieve, thankfully. But.....maybe a tiger lotus at the bottom left, near the wood, could provide a nice centrepiece.

Ergo Sum, the pic really is different from the tank colour-wise, but even so it could stand a little more colour. The Rotala on the right is the most colourful plant, it's a mix of lime green, hot pink and peach; the C. wendtii 'brown' really is a deep, chocolate brown, and there's some contrast between dark and light greens. The Hygro gets red near the top as well. It would be nice to have a striking red plant in there, just haven't found anything that 'fits' yet.
As for needing another... it's frightening how true that really is! I've got four planted tanks and only my husband prevents me from filling the house with more, and more, and more... :D

Reiverix, a tiger lotus is exactly what I was thinking of! It is indeed my plan to cover the wood in Java fern; it's such a beautiful plant, I'm really happy with it :)
