New to live plants so the tank still looks kinda sparse, but from what I hear about swords, they should grow in quite nicely. . . I hope :o

swords grow super fast, depending on what lighting you have

Thanks for the pics. Great looking tank. I too have a 37 gallon high and am going to switch to live plants over my holiday break. I was wondering if any plants would grow tall enough for it. Someone recommened Wisteria to me. I know this is off subject...but do you have a background for it? I can't find one anywhere that will fit.

there are lotrs of plants that will grow tall enough

amazon swords
cabomba
foxtail
rotala wallichi(along with most other rotala stem plants)
red ludwigia
wisteria

the best background to put on a planted tank is a black background, it gives it a sense of depth, and it makes everything stand out much better
