News to me - goldfish eat oranges!!

I saw them feeding at PetSmart, so I rigged this up for my pond. They strip it down to the rind.

The second pic shows the reflection of my fern-leaf sumac on the water. And yes, that is a net - it's about a foot above the water - the heron flies over every morning like clockwork.

Ive heard they eat most soft fruit, such as oranges...but Ive never tried it.
