Update: I tested the tap water I use and here are the readings:
pH = 7.6
Ammonia = 0 ppm (of course)
Nitrate = 0 ppm
Nitrite = 0 ppm
Chlorine = 0
So nothing to worry about there
I think what happend was I was over feeding and also my tank may not be fully cycled like I had thought. Thank you everyone for all the help.
I will still do the 25% water change and hopfully soon that darn Nitrite will get down to zero. Ill keep testing.
