i have a 69 gallon tank. i filled up tank and put in the cycle product i bought. i let it sit with no fish for 2 weeks. then i added 6 fish in 1 week: 2 yellow gouramis, 2 red rainbows and 2 dennisoni barbs. so 6 fish have been in there for 1 week now. i have been testing for amonia and i find none. nitrites test to about 0.3. is this normnal? how do i keep going?
thanks

Idealy you want to have 0 ppm of ammonia, 0 ppm of nitrites, and >20 ppm of nitrates. Since you ahve fish in there you will want to stay on the testing of your water and do planed 25% - 50% water changes once a week. If your amonia or nitrite levels raise then do a water change earlier. As it is now I would do a water change with the nitrites being what they are.
