It's driving me nuts!!! I cant keep my cory cats alive. Ive been trying to keep a school of 5 in my 55g and they keep dying. At first I thought one of my fish were killing them but I have 2 that have survived and are doing great. I literally been through about 8 of these little guys in the last month.
Yesterday I bought 2 for my 20g tank just to see what happens and one is already dead. The other one looks like he not going to make it either. Not sure whats really causing this. Ammonia is at zero in both tanks. Nitrite is at zero and nitrate is between 5 to 10 ppm. The ph is 7.4 or 8.0, cant really tell. Could the ph be the cause??? Someone please help me keep these little guys alive!!!!!
Stock in 55g:
6 tiger barbs, 5 serpae tetras, 5 buenos aries tetras, 1 banded leporainus, 1 rainbow shark, 1 rosy barb, 5 black skirt tetras, 2 corys.
Its running on 2 aqua clear 70s
Stock in 20g:
10 harleys, 1 dwarf gourami, 2 corys
Its running on 1 aqua clear 70
