no nitrate

Had some high nitrite for about 2 weeks until last week. Changed 60% of water and added prime. Very low to 0 nitrite this week and 0 ammonia as well. However I have tested 0 for NITRATE all week. Tank was started with 5 zebra danios Jan 16, 2006. Today is the 10th so why no nitrate readings yet?

Chris, it takes 4-6 weeks to complete the cycle. You've been at it 3 1/2 weeks, be patient.
