Noisy Penguin Biowheel 200 filter... any solutions?

Hi, I have a Penguin Bio wheel 200 and it is really noisy, like a water stream sound because of the wheel splashing water around and the way the water enters the tank.
Unlike the whisper filters, no matter where I adjust the water level the sound is consistent and is very annoying!

Is there any suggestions to make the filter quiet? I am almost fed up with it!

Remove the bio wheels.

My 200 used to do that, until the bio-wheel was sufficiently used and the water level was higher than the return. If it bothers you, just replace it.

Bring the water level up to right where the filter spills out. It should be a streamless output....If the level is high enough, it should make minimal noise.....

Exactly what I was saying. I do this with all HOBs to minimize noise.

I have 3 of these and if you have the water level right, the output should not be noticeable......
