They are not very common here either. They are relatively knew to to the pet trade and not a lot is known about them, and almost every specimen that you will ever see at this point is wild caught and imported from Africa. My kids are LTC, have been in the states about two years now. They were all rescues from various sources.
I have been hoping to add another female to the group, but I don't like to buy animals such as this, preferring to rescue only. I am waiting for the perfect girl to come along that needs a home. I want to produce CB babies and sell them at a price that is lower than what imports cost, just to do my part to stop importation.
