Noob Betta Questions Plz help

I think alot of gobys are brackish, so that would probably be one of the biggest deciding factors. Do you know what kind it was?

Real plants in a 10 gallon wouldn't be difficult. You can put a 20W plant light in a regular hood set up and grow a variety of lower level plants. I grow wendti, red melon swords, anachris, crypts, java moss, and java fern in my 10 gallon. I also have a bunch of plants growing on a piece of driftwood that I bought from Petco. The plants are doing great and the newts love it.

Dont Buy a goby... They are brackish and cant live with a betta.
And Emg doesnt have all 16 of her bettas together... That would be stupid. They are all Separate.
I have 9 right now. all in there own little betta kits.

lol yeah, I kinda figured that later on after thinkin abt it lol.

Update: I bought a male betta from the store. He's greenish-tealish with some red. He's living in a 3 gallon for now, but Im going to trade in my gold fish for some tropical fish on Wednesday. Gonna set up my 20 gallon (which currently has goldfish) with some tropical fish and this betta. I have the heater ready and everything.

Thanks for everyones help :)

Smart Idea, Goldfish are nice but I dont think that they hold a candle to the betta they are a bit smarter and nicer to care for and look at, just dont get 2 males in the tank (bettas) because they have a tendency to try to kill one another.
