Norton 360

Does anyone else have this? Every couple weeks it seems it tells me there is a error that can only be fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling...it's quite frankly a pain in the hiney! Anyone know anything to do so it quits doing this??

Every time it say's there are 16 issues effecting your computer. To fix the problem it must be uninstalled and reinstalled. That's it, if you go to the home screen it all of the PC Security, Transacion Security, back-up and restore and the PC tune up all say not secure, not optimized, and not protected and they all say they will not work until the program is uninstalled and reinstalled. I always do the uninstall and reinstall obviously as I want my computer protected, but it is happening alot and I am sick of it. I never had this problem with my Mcaffee when I had it and really am considering just junking this program and switching back.

Best thing to do is uninstall it and find a new service to protect. Norton is known for being a PITA.

When you get the error, it should provide you with an error code and it should be in the format of two lots of 4 numbers...like 21234, 5678 or 1234,123456789
Need that code please if possible

Niko..I don't really get a "error" message it's more like a pop up, while I'm online a box pops up and say's I need to uninstall and reinstall. There are no numbers with it.

Norton sucks, I always had problems with it. Switched to Trend Micro Antivirus and its been no problems.

I am most likely going to switch to something else soon...I am so sick of looking for my box with the product code to reinstall the dang thing!c:
