Norton 360

Hey, if I switch to foxfire will I have to redownload everything on my computer? What if I don't like it, is it easy to switch back? Sorry but big changes scare me and I'm always afraid to loose things:uhoh:

Is foxfire good with game sites? What do ppl have problems with when using it?

After downloading Firefox, you shouldn't need to download anything else, it will import all the bookmarks and preferences when you first start it. You will want to download some of the great add-ons though...

If you don't like it, which you will (its less of a memory hog as IE), you can quickly switch IE back as your default browser by starting IE, it should ask you if you want to make it your default.

Once I do get it and decide I want to keep it, should I then uninstall the IE?

I wouldn't, who knows what Microsoft has linked that program to....you uninstall it maybe your shift button stops working.

True...didn't think about that! Well if/when I make the change I'll post an let ya know what I think!

it will have no effects at all having IE and FF on the same computer. Oh, and you can actually completly remove IE from a computer running windows xp or above, but that way by design...

Good luck

Niko

Ok, I'll give it a try soon...oh, and I have vista. I know ppl say they have tons of trouble w/ Vista, but I love it myself.

Well, I am now running firefox!! I like it so far the only thing I like better with the IE at this point...my spell check, yes firefox underlines the words but doesn't give suggestion spellings. I miss that, since well my spelling sucks!
