Not disturbing bubble nest during water changes?

i was replying to your post that didn't include the details posted later by you regarding putting the female in a container in the tank. gotta make sure you detail things out for people that are asking for advice, especially when it concerns pets, or things could go horribly awry.

bettafishmommy i just bread my betta's and had success so i think i know what im doing obviously he's gunna need to get a container for her to parade for lack of a better word
the male/female needs to beable to see eachother, have like a vase in with the male betta so they see eachother, and condition them both FOR A WEEK before attempting to breed. yes ive bred bettas to.... you cant just plot a female in a male tank when she isnt ready, or he would kill her and well he would anyways if she was or wasnt ready, so when she is ready you add her, watch her for a few hours then take her out as soon as you see the male chasing her... so agian you have to condition both before attempting to breed.....

i say dont change the water today instead give him a female to play with he'll love it

lol
I'd be afraid to do that in a 4g, even if the only female I've got ready to breed wasn't the same one that tried to eat him a little while ago lol.
He'd probably freak out if he saw her again, took me 3 hours to calm him down after she ate all his fins. :(
(I didn't put him with her that time, he got past the divider I had at the time, have fixed that since then.)
