Not so corky corkscrew

Spreading them out a little wouldn't hurt.

:iagree: . Especially the dwarf sag. This gives them more room to grow and light will reach all the leaves. Also, I had my corkscrews in the shade of some other plants so they all died but like three. I moved them out in the open and now they're looking healthier. They're also root feeders, so a root tab would probably help. I've had luck growing swords in low light as well even though they're supposed to be at least a medium light plant.

my corkscrew val actually did decently under an 18 watt standard tube. i moved it to my 45 with a 96 watt pc fixture and it shed all its "growths." now it has started fresh sprouts only about 2 inches long
