not sure if i'm liking the new format

Grey is a little better on the eyes, and yeah customizeable colors would really be nice.
 
I am noticing a few people change their text to black when posting. Makes it hard to read when using the grey color scheme. :( This isn't a fault of AC, just annoying.
 
Oh, just a minor issue, maybe not even an issue (I may just be doing it wrong), but when I tried to click on the "Go to last page" thing for the Last One to Post wins thread, it was covered over by the "attachments" thing. Just to let you know.
 
I don't mind it at all. Since I'm a newer member I probably wasn't as accustomed to the old format as some of the more "seasoned" members were, but it doesn't seem entirely different, just a little updated.

Is the "Awards" feature new, and does anyone know exactly what it is?

I wonder when we're going to use the Awards system.lol I know there is work already put onto it but it hasn't been used yet. May have to forward this into discussion in the next staff meeting. It's quite useful for contests though.
 
It will just turn into another popularity contest..hope it gets dropped before it starts.
 
Just use the awards for TOTM winners, and other contest winners. (One award for TOTM, maybe one for being on the site for a year, and then another for a Pic of the Month Contest. ) These are just some ideas, just throwing things out there.
