not sure what is going on

i have a 10G tank set up with newly born platie fry ( about 8, about a week old), one pleco, two glost shrimp ,and one snail. but the tank seams to alway have a very high ammonia i do a 25% water change but with in a day the ammonia test high. any information will help my 20g tank is doing well. i only been doing Aquarium for 4 months. pls. help

Did you cycle the tank? If not that could be the problem. Be careful because of the fry but I would do a 25% water change immediately and then 10% per day until the cycle is complete and the tank is stable.
 
thx i will try that like i said i'm new but would like to try to keep the fry they are fun. someone told me that i should not have a snail but i have not found any infotmation that will tell me try.
