Ya the regular Nova Extreme it is a good light. I have it over my 30 long reef...
It really depends on what type of Reef you are wanting to keep... If you want SPS, the fixture will not cut it. You should really go individual reflectors if you are looking to do SPS... But that is why Current has now come out with a individually reflected and actively cooled 6 bulb T-5 fixture.
Now they can compete in that market as well!

I always liked the look of the regular Nova Extreme but without the individual reflectors I was always turned away. It's nice to see a rather affordable one.

I'll be interested in whether these reflectors work as well as some of the other units. Current is a great name of course, but it is a bit hard to tell if they have enough of a spread and curve to them.
I actually just got the regular Nova for my 46 Bow front.. They are really nice, and i got it at a steal.. lol
Though now I need to get some reflectors for the lights.. i wonder if they make them, or if I can DIY.. I know where I can get polished aluminum cut into the right size.. seems to be a straight foward thing of securing them onto it..
