Yeah, I was going to post a warning too.
That was pretty icky, but not disturbing to me for some reason. A couple pics I've come across on the 'net where people inappropriately posted them...well, they pretty much got burned into my brain.

I found it pretty disturbing too- I'm a huge wimp. I don't know how CSI has so many followers- so gross and such awful writing. but I have seen a few because I have this little complex where if I accidently catch the beginning of a show like that, I have to see the end where they catch the bad guy or I will have nightmares.
Yes... I did get that. What I felt surprising was the number of 7mm mag rounds it took just to bring the bear down in the fictitious story. I do hunt (and saying I deserve a bear attack because so is just assinine, wind) because we are a one income family and the extra meat we get from whitetail deer every year helps feed our family. So, I was rather alarmed by the fact that after every shot from the 7mm mag hit that the bear was still breathing and required more shots to the head from the same weapon. Not one more shot, more shots, as the fictitious story claimed. That was what I was rather shocked about. I mean, I shoot a little .25-06 for whitetail and can't even shoot a 7mm mag because I have had shoulder reconstruction on my right shoulder and a 7mm mag could undo what the doctors had me laid open on an operating table for 4 hours to fix. Pick up a ballistics sheet on both rounds. I'd go 7mm... I had a 300 H&H Mag for a while but I got so scared to shoot the stupid thing that I went back to shooting Elk with a .270 Mag.
Now, a .50 cal. is an excellent Manatee round...

I didn't say you'd deserve it. I said I have trouble feeling sorry for hunters when nature strikes back. You know when someone's out there trying to kill animals and an animal goes after the person, it just seems ironic and a little bit just to me. I understand that most people hunt for the food, but honestly I think that killing animals is much like killing people, so pretty much I think it's wrong. I don't condemn people who do it, and I don't wish bad things on them. It's not like I hope that something bad will happen, but when it does I don't find it unfair. Sad, but not unfair.
I also said that if a bear attacks someone and they shoot at it in self defense, that is fine. That is understandable. Even though I also sympathize with the animal. I do realize that bears are large, and have natural weapons and defense, and humans have nothing in that department.
And I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

There's method to my madness even if you don't understand it.
