i was just wondering if anyone has a good DIY mixture for this CO2 injector as far as yeast and baking soda goes. the higher the bubble count the better

Here it is

The yeast can be any sort of bread yeast, 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon

The activator packet is mostly baking soda, 1 teaspoon. There is some other ingredient in the activator, but I never was able to figure out what it was. It tastes salty, but it is not salt, I found that salt inhibits the mix and can even kill it completely.

So, just fill with sugar as per directions, then add 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of yeast, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, fill with lukewarm water. Let it sit a minute for the yeast to fall then rise again, then close the top, remembering to give it an extra 1/4 turn after it seems snug.

I use fleishman's bread machine yeast at 1/4 tsp and 1 tsp of baking soda in warm water with sugar. It gives me in the beginning 1 bubble per second. After a week 1 bubble per 2 seconds. After two weeks 1 bubble per 3 seconds. After that it starts to die out quickly and I have to change the mix. I once forgot to add baking soda and the thing died out within 3 days.

In my tap water, that mix gave about 6 bubbles per minute.

and the order i put them in is the sugar first, then the baking soda and yeast and then put the water in?

Not sure that it maters, but I put in sugar, added baking soda and then water, finally yeast. Wait until the yeast all falls then rises again, then seal the top.
