nutrients in substrate question

All of it once a year, or 10% every month?

Never really. Ive seen tank well over 5 years old, with zero problems in the health of plants.....

I buy from several Big Alls locations and Aquarium Depot. Sometimes from Pets mart.

Get a nitrate test kit, and check your tap water. If it's above 5 ppm, it just fine and you might not have to add Nitrates.

As for actually buying Nitrates, it's made by Seachem, and called.......

Seachem Flourish Nitrogen
