OB zebra problem

Yeah I tried giving him a time out. I removed him for a few hours into a smaller tank. Then I did a water change and rearranged all the rocks. It worked for about 15 minutes before he was back to his old self. I think his tankmates are not mean enough to put him in his place. Besides the demasoni who hates everyone.

Again Blue, remove all the OB's or SOB's as you said...

Well then it sounds like the OBs need a new home. Did I mention I could use a couple female OBs? :D

If I knew how to ship them I would send them your way lol. Right now he only has 2 grown females. One is holding now, the other doesn't have many spots, just a black eye patch which is cool.

Ok so removing the male SOB and rehoming him. Leaving the set up as is until the weather is warmer, then removing the rest of the OBs and replacing with msobos.

Welcome to the world of African cichlids!
Putting a bunch of different Lake Malawi species
all in one 55 gallon aquarium
will likely never
work unless you commit to a species only tank.
You will have much better results in a 125 gallon
aquarium and you'll find that mixed Mbuna will behave
in a more peaceful manner. If you are serious about
spawning Malawians, you'll need a minimum of 3-4
tanks per species so that females and fry can be separated,
so fry can be grown out, and so injured fish can have a place
to recover and heal. Good luck!

Couldn't disagree more - can you outline your experiences/sources that lead you to this conclusion ?
