Oceanic 29 Gallon biocube

The overflow of the wall is because the tank is not level. I had the same problem till I took out my leveler and adjusted my stand with inserts under the legs of my fish stand.

It's touchy like that...it will also happen if you have restricted flow from the 1st chamber to 2nd chamber if you have too much water in the tank also.

Yeah the water doesn't flow over my wall. The fish still jump though! One of the danios survived 3 trips into the drip plate, amazingly. One time he even got uder the plate (there's a tiny gap on te side) went through the BioBalls and came up in the pump chamber completely unharmed! He's a resilient little thing.

I'm curious about replacing the filter pad between the first 2 chambers. I do have the issue where the return pump ends up sucking air sometimes- usually just after water changes, but I'd still like to prevent it.
