Octopus in the home tank?

Hi I don’t ever plan on trying this but I was watching TV and they where showing octopus and it made me wonder if some has an octopus in there at home tanks? And if so how large a tank that is and how hard they are to keep alive? and i have no idea if this is Legal or “right” just curious heh

Wow that’s amazing I love Octopuses and someday im going to have to get one now that I know I can but for awhile I think im staying with my little reef tank heh but wooooow that incredible if any1 has more pics or specs for a tank suited just for octopus it would be great if you post it for me. I wouldn't recommend keeping them in anything but a flow-through system (as opposed to a closed system that everyone's home aquaria are). But that's just me.

My brother was asking about this. We saw one at an LFS in castro valley. Seems like it would be quite a task. They can fit through any hole so long as it is sligthly larger than it's beak!!

octopus are smart i wouldnt keep one in a home tank, i just think for them to be happy they would need a massive tank.

Wow plah831 you are living my dream. This is off topic but I think lots of people on these forums would like to know how you did it? What classes, did you get an internship somewhere stuff like that?
