i think an octo tank would be amazing and that telling him to just get fish is not a constructive comment. i am excited to see your tank fully set up and good juck with him.

but thanks for the comment all the same. I expected criticism as octopuses are hard too keep but i prefer if it were constructive, and not based on the assumption that I am incapable of planning.

Post pictures of the octopus with his arms ringing your neck screaming, that'll quiet the critics.

The more i think about it the more i think the damsel would be just another stress factor for the octopus and shouldn't be their upon its introduction. I'm thinking of freezing the fish to be offered as food later. Is their any way i can make the process less painful for the fish and still keep it edible?

im sorry about the gender mix up. are you going to leave the fish whole? i would place it in water and into the freezer it shuts their system down and they go into a sleep and then nada. just one thought though
Thats the plan net the fish into a ziplook with a little tank water. Now i just have to catch him 0.o
