Octopus tank (log)

the temps been back up and steady since i last posted but fluffys condition has worsened. he stays in one spot in the tank only staying a few inches...even by night now. hes still eating but only one piece of food regardless of size and i have to almost force him to take it. i got those orange and blue gloves and got my hand up close to him. no reaction. looks like temp isn,t the problem. these are classic signs of senescence (aka getting old). i hadn't though it was senescence because fluffy isn't full grown. iv since been informed that size isn't an accurate gage for age. for anyone who doesn't know senescence in ceph causes their eye sight to diminish as well as appetite and activity level until their demise. i knew this was coming, but i didn't think it would happen this soon. of course i'm not sure of this but it seems likely.

Oh man geek and then I posted in Germanmans thread when were you going to post a vid.. Man I am so sorry.. I am hoping that it is not what you think it is and fluffy returns to his past glory..

Best Wishes
Mark

don't sweat it clown-lover. i hope so too, it would be great if i was wrong and he went back to being his old self.

i thought their might be a problem with my test kits so i went and got the water tested at my LFS. they confirmed that the water quality is high as normal no ammonia no nitrite low nitrates <15. at least if he dies now i can be reasonably confidant that he died of natural causes and not due to a stupid mistake of my own. as of now hes still hanging in their though.

everyone pray for fluffster =/..
