Octopus tank (log)

so about an hour about i woke up to the tank filter malfunctioning. turn on light "hmm where is fluffy". usually any light change will be fallowed by wiggling arms reaching out through crevices in the rock. -note fluffy is not dead- . waits...still no fluffy uh-oh. off goes the filter and i start feeling for wet spots on the carpet in case he might have escaped . eventually i spotted fluffys arms but they were on the other side of the blue netting you know, the side with the heater(promptly turned it off) filter(off) and acess to the outside:eek3::eek3::eek3:. as soon as i lifted the blue netting he pulled himself into the safe tank. FEW! anywho all limbs are accounted for and fluffy seems to be doing better than i am. i wont be able to sleep for the rest of the night personally.

i have no super glue or epoxy or anything but i spent about half an hour using the tip of a hot glue gun to melt down the glue that was already on the netting. today i will be getting some strong epoxy, gorilla glue, or something like that.

Man I almost had a heart attack here... But I'm glad fluffy is ok!!!

I am glad fluffy is ok. Seems like that cutie likes to get into trouble. Maybe he just likes to put on a show for his fans :D

OK I just spent an hour reading the entire Fluffy life story. It was just to good to stop. Will have to check out the videos at home tonight as work blocks youtube.

fluffy's still doing alright and ate some squid but i tested the water and the nitrates are at 40ppm 0.0 octos often make escape attempts when the when parameters are off. water changing time.
