I have a small refugium with live rock, cheato and a mangrove in it. I have (crawling on the side) what I assume are the usual amphipods. However there are two very strange looking "things". Sort of look like a mouth with a forked tail. They sort of stretch the mouth out and move around the side. Any clues as to what these might be? Thanks, Karen

Sounds like a flatworm. You could do a search to see what type of flatworm you have. If it is a new tank, it is probably a white flatworm and will eventually disappear.
