So today i was watching my fish and didnt notice anything odd or abnormal, I came back after being out with some friends to finde one of my plattys in my 10 gallon stuck to the filter intake, i got the net and got him out.
I was looking him over to check things out, didnt notice anything.

My water tests out at
Ammonia-0
NitrIte- 0
NitrAte-10
Ph-7

Does anyone have any ideas on what could have happend?

I will give more info if needed.

maybe he just got stuck to the filter intake, struggled to free himself, but got exhausted to death and gave up!

A healthy platy would not have problems with getting stuck to the filter intake. I would suspect injury or illness. Keep an eye on your other fish for signs of illness.

Ok he has a few other plattys as tank mates, an upsidedown catfish and a betta.

Its a 10 gal that has been set up for about 2 months now, 30% water changes are done every 5-7 days.

All the other fish in the tank are acting normal, eating swiming and "playing" as usual.

But this doesnt tell me how many fish you have in your 10 gallon.

Well, I removed the plattys, sent them back to the LFS i think they had probs from the begining.

Now I have whats in my cig on the bottom.

everything is a ok now, at least i hope

nitrite 0
ammonia 0
nitrate 5

water changes have been bumped to 30& every 4 days.
