WHOA....TOO COOL !

My husband has computer cases all over the place....he's a computer nerd/geek...lol....

How did you do that and what did you use for the "glass" ? I think I would like to give something like that a try....maybe some of the teachers at my school would be interested in a neat "oddball" style aquarium. :D One of the teachers had a 130gallon given to him and has it set up in his class. No fish yet, waiting for the fall...but it'll be a saltwater fish only setup. :( oO(no one evergives ME stuff like that...whine whine, cry cry)

I used 1/4" acrylic from a local home improvment store... fairly simple realy, but sealing it is the hard part

A betta would do well--he can go to the surface and breathe air as well as use his gills. You could try some pygmy cories on the bottom, they are fun and a good cleaner crew, and maybe some white clouds? They do well with bettas usually... Or you could do one dwarf gourami (they have similar breathing as the betta, both are labarynth fish aka anabantids (spelling?)), and the same mix, or maybe a betta or gourami (one not both) and some ADF (these guys are cool and only breathe air) and some white clouds or such. There are some options for this that will accomodate the size/shape of the tank. I like the pics, very cool design!
