In that case I would not really recommend any other fish and would just round out your schools and make the tank work that way, although the angel will probably not be thrilled about the set up
The angel has been alright so far and has been pretty peaceful. How large can I make each school with out over stocking? Are there any good bottom fish that would do well with those fish? I would like more bottom feaders because the only ones I have at the moment are the shark and the catfish.
Peacock eels shouldn't be aggressive... They're not even big enough to really swallow anything more than a neon, and they're not exactly built for active predation.
1 red tailed shark
1 silver dollar(yes I know they are supposed to be in schools)
1 pictus catfish
I would look for another tank for this three, if it was me. The Angel will get more aggressive as it gets bigger also. Get the schooling fish in groups of five or more. The more of one species the better they school and look in my opinion.
African Butterfly fish, they are very odd and cool looking, stay around 4" long and are very very peaceful. Drop a cricket in as a treat and enjoy the show.
Why? I really like my red tail shark and he is an adult(around 5 inches) and so can defend himself rather well, but seems to prefer not to pick fights. All of the fish except the hatchet fish and the tetras have been together for at least a year or two(most of them more) without any problems. On second thought I think I will leave the Tetras in a seperate tank.
