I have decided to try an sell my BIG fish online. So does anyone know what would be a safe way to pack them for Mail shipping? As These fish WILL bust a bag. All suggestions welcome...Thanks

I googled "shipping fish" and got 992,000 responses- the first few look very informative.
Even a brief scout around Aquabid can show you that the vendors are using heat packs, oxygen, and FedEx etc.

Do you think someone would pay $30 shipping for a $5 dollar fish? The jacks and oscars are a dime a dozen, and I wouldn't think a 12½" pleco is the best fish to learn packing/shipping on.
I'd think a local sale to be your best bet.

doxponygirl, living in Illinois is an advantage as you have a large market for these fish. I realize that Mt. Vernon is kinda the other direction from Chicago, but it would be best to get someone to drive down for the tankbusters or to meet you halfway, as shipping them will be a large pain.
