Off topic posts, hurt feelings, and frustration.

It's funny how something as in-personal as a comment on the internet can sometimes have such a strong effect on us personally. I think we've all been through it.

But don't take anything at a personal level. Opinions are just that... opinions. It was great that you decided to apologize, even though you still aren't sure whether the comments made to you after your little splurge were really necessary or justifyable. It shows maturity.

We're all glad you decided to stick around.

I would also like to point out that many times we, "the reader", infer emotion or connotations that were not necessarily intended by the person posting. When in doubt report the thread or pm one of the mods so we can make sure that no one is being attacked personally or getting too off topic.

Glad you decided to stay and I look foreword to seeing more posts. ;)

I'm glad you're staying too!! This forum is made up of a wonderful group of people from all over the world! We all have bad days, say something once in a while when we should not have, unintentionally hurt someone's feelings. And sometimes it's hard to stay neutral. But AC is awesome, and everyone of you makes AC the great forum it is! And RWSpear76....you're almost halfway to 500 posts! So get talking!!;)

If it makes you feel better I got banned from a forum I've been on for about 4-5 yrs now. I have over 8,000 posts there and got banned without even a warning for mocking the grammar of another member. :(

This happens so often and is an unfortunate reality of they typed VS spoken word. I usually post the way I speak and it's sometimes taken the wrong way. Without hearing how someone says something, without the ability to interact verbally in real time leaves a lot to interpretation.
