Sorry it's been a while. I've gotten a few e-mails from those who were worried about me. Thank you all. I've never been a part of another community that has done that.
Things have been... rough around here for a bit, but they're working out and I'm sure things will be OK now. What happened?
Well, me and the missus had a bit of a tiff. Since Xander was born, we've been walking on eggshells around each other. She didn't know I was and I didn't know she was and all the eggshells finally cracked. It's all OK now, we got a lot of crap out in the open and dealt with some issues. She doesn't think I'm lazy anymore and I don't think she's a freeloader anymore.
Xander is fine. He's walking (and teething... sigh). He's just started talking and only we can understand what he's saying, but he's getting there. We're trying to spend more time with other kids for him.
On a sadder note, I did have to put Tango to sleep. She's the poor kitty that was sort of crazy. We tried a medicine that was supposed to help, but it just made her sleep 23 hours a day. She didn't even get up to go to the potty box. But if I missed that dose by an hour, she was really mad again. I took her to the vet yesterday.
Anyway, I'm feeling better and am actively looking for a small tank to start a salt water aquarium. I've found a few deals, but salt is pretty expensive and things are still tight right now.
