:mad2:
last night i did a 30% water change, and a lil aquascaping.

i woke up this morning and my tank was incredibly murky.

the water looks like someone poored a glass of milk in there.

what is it, why is this happening? is this diatoms? what do i do?

i did last night, everthing was ok, except my ALK was a lil, and i dosed a small amount of buffer

i dosed a small amount of buffer

that is probably the problem... do you remember what the buffer is? brand, or more importantly, the make up?>

bufffers such as the Kent superbuffer need to be dissolved in freshwater. it you do it insaltwater, you will form a while (milky) percipitate.

totally was precipitation.

tank looks better than ever today. really freaked me out though. my water clarity/quality has always been superb.

to see it all milky made my heart drop.

;)
good to hear
everything get through okay?

yup.

my mantis came out when i got home yesterday and started to front on me:)

he'd come up to the glass spread his arms and bob up and down like "what"

i have some like sea foam green people eaters, and i just noticed that all 7 nickle size polyps now have atleast 2 eraser sized babies at there base now.

doubt its related, but just noticed it:look:
