I dont have a python..yet. I am going back to get 2 more today, and I want this 150 I saw on craigslist the other day, only 300 for tank and stand, hood and all..... It would be a great discus tank
 
well go for it!!! if i saw it it would be gone even tho id have to put it in storage tell i get a place of my own soon but still im getting a 75 for 100.00 annd all comes wit it!
 
yep to me they don't look too badly stunted and its hard to tell at a young age like that... they can be saved... i would recommend lots of clean water and great food
 
I've done the LFS discus rescue before! I've had stunted fish that got up to around 4.5" total length and 'rounded' up OK after awhile. Good luck on those!

Thanks all, I have been feeding them blood worms, and now beef heart and brine shrimp. As well as some crappy food, I didn't realize it was fish meal. Beef heart says it help fish grow, it that BS? And will stuff like excel harm them?
 
It's been a while, how are the fishies doing?

I got 4 LFS discus, for not quite as good a deal as you got. 1 died after about a week, but the other three are great. The runt of the bunch stayed really skinny, and I was afraid I would lose him, but after about 3 months he is filling out and looking good.

The largest of the group has at least doubled in size in the last 4-5 months, and is beautiful.

Again I hope yours are doing well, and I love the nice yellow colors on them!
