poor lil guy. i would have had to chew the guy out. do you mind me asking how much you paid for the abused beast??
 
Paid nothing. :] I chewed him out and he gave him to me. lol.

Poor little guy! I can't believe someone would do that! I can't believe he lived in that. Ugh. Makes me sick.
 
I know. :( Ive got him in a bowl under a good light and he seems to be perking up. I have to get him a tank soon.
 
i bought at least 4 male bettas that were in water almost as bad at that and they all ended up dead after 3 or 4 days from some kind of fungus..i felt so bad for those poor little guys..i don't buy bettas in cups or bowls anymore..i did buy one about 3 weeks ago from pets supply plus and i tol the lady i wanted the red one in the tank with the neon tetras..she said that she had some nice ones in the cups..i said NO! i want the one in the tank..so i got him ..he's happy and healthy as ever....
 
He's perked up so great! Even flaring!
