Darn, LFS had him a little stressed out; transition probably stressed them out unfortunately...He was gulping air multiple times yesterday, looking sick. I salt bathed him and force feed him some gel-tek, but it doesn't look like it works! Today he is getting stressed out feeling like he can plop down on his side carelessly :(

I have

Maracyn 2
Maracyn plus
Coppersafe
Geltek purple
Geltek blue
Aquarium salt
Melafix
Pimafix
Ick Clear

Any of these prove to help? His gills are a bit red it would seem. It looks like he's in his last moments 0:O

I have a 10 gallon.

Water parameters

pH 7.6
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10

The best thing you can do for him is clean water so water changes and tank maintenance are a must even if your test results are or seem to be perfect. After a water change you can try treating with Marycn nd Marycn 2. They are meant to be used together. Follow the directions on the box and do another water change when the treatment is over. Make sure to remove any carbon if you are using it since it will remove the medication from the water.

Hope the little guy makes it.

Ah okay...so maracyn. Need to buy that today lol Should I take him out and put him in my 10 gallon? Or it's gonna be 60 gallon? Gonna be using a lot of packets if I have to use it for 60

If you have a quarantine set up it would be better to treat him in there. This keeps that whole mess out of your main display. However, if there are other fish in the tank that the cory was in, there is a possibility that those fish are infected with the same parasite and may need treatment too. If the other fish are fine just keep a close eye on them and be ready to quarantine them too.

Give him fresh water like Marinemom said. I'd also give him a lot of shelter in the Q tank and keep the lights off to minimize stress.

Do not treat the tank with the maracyn. Treat the QT tank or bowl. If you treat the tank it will likely not save the fish and kill other things in the tank...

Pandas are really tough. VERY susceptible to water quality changes or poor water...

You do reallize that Cory's "gulp air", even when their not sick right? Cory's are also not fans of salt and I don't know anyone (or anything) that likes being force fed medication. I would stop doing stuff to the fish and just be patient. Sometimes, the "cure" is worse than the disease (if there is one).

He was gulping multiple times....and okay, they not fans of salt, but, what is there to do? do nothing? i had one died already because I didn't do anything at all! it sucked because where i live it's very hard to find these guys over where I'm at. CA LA. I'm impatient sometimes, but I know precaution. :lipssealedsmilie:

So they are sensitive or are they hardy? They are susceptible to diseases, right? Meh, maybe I should isolate him like you said..
