I have a pond and I want to seal it and I was told about this oil based sealer( I cant remember what its called but thats not the point) I was told to come here to find out if oil based sealers are safe for the plants and pets that you put in it?? :look:

You are sealing a concrete pond?
Oil based encompasses a lot but I suspect not. Typically the only safe stuff for fish is something food grade or completely inert like a marine grade epoxy sealant, rated for continual submersion.
