I knew a girl who was attracted to nerds. She loved the thick glasses and knowing how to use a computer. She's a fashion designer. Go figure.
 
how many folks reading this know that the modern-day usage of the term 'nerd' actually came from the TV show "Happy Days" back in the '70s?
