ok never kept a reef tank before, can i get some help

hey i am interested in doing my oldscool 15 gal in a reef tank, NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE, i need to no every thing to no about keeping a reef tank, all that salinaty, protein skimmers all that stuf explained please, also what fish i could get in there. thhanks catch you later
