Please make sure you are clicking on "Post replay" rather than making a new thread.

And indeed... You are being vague at best, what exactly is wrong?

sorry, i cant even find my initial post. It said that my goldfishes
fins seemed "stuck" together, someone explained to me
that it was ventral fins? and it spends alot of time near
the bottom and not swimming around. I was wondering how
to treat it. Sorry about not posting reply, and hitting new
thread instead. Ill learn!

Ventral fins is not a disease that I know of.

The term "ventral" is a anatomical term that is describing the location of the fin on the fish. Ventral fin refers to the fin that is on the belly of the fish and frontal (also known as anterior) to the anal fin. Every fin on the fish has a descriptor name like this. The fin on the back is the dorsal, the tail is called the caudal, etc.

I accidentally hit, new thread instead of...

sticking to my original post. Sorry about that.
But the ventral fins are "stuck " together,
just not spread out like the side ones and tail
fins are. And he isnt active as usual. Was just wondering
if this was a disease and how to treat it.

Thanks for your response!

O.K. I went back and read your last thread that this is refering to and you say that the fish has its fins clamped to its body, right?

This in itself is not a disease, just a symptom. The fish is stressed for probably one of these 2 most common reasons: poor water quality (try doing a water change) or illness (which is difficult to diagnose until more symptoms appear aned even then it may not be possible).

Either way, try doing a water change and watch the temp to make sure it does not change, which could further stress him/her and predispose him/her to getting a full breakout of the disease it may be fighting.
