ok i have been having problems in my tanks... and i have been using meds... my LFS and my father told me to quit using meds, and just do my water changes and things will turn around... and the meds were probably just stressing them and not making them better...

Do most of you not use meds and hope for the best?

I've only used meds once and that's because my fish had a fungus all over his head and was very obviously going towards the light.

It all depends on what's wrong with your fish. Post their symptoms and your water stats and an expert will be along shortly to sort you out. :)
