I'm ready to start my sw reef tank,,its a 108 gal. i have a coralife 220 hang on or sump style skimmer(for now ,,next year or so it will be a h.o.t) 2 powerheads 250 gph,,,2 aqua clear 110 hang ons (for water movement and sponges to remove solids and possible chambers to hold calcium buffers etc,,),,,and a power compact light strip 4x 65 watt(2 10000k and 2 actinic),,,base rock of 50lbs(not live) will be in first followed by some 50 to 65 lbs of live (uncured) figi rock,,,what advise would you experienced guys give me here???

Sounds pretty good just a few things.
If you want fowlr you'll need your tank water to turn over at least 15 times per hour and for a reef at least 20 times per hour. I'd loose the sponges all they will do is trap detritus and cause you to have nitrate issues down the road.
Other than that it sounds prett good!
Welcome to the salty side of life.
