I bought a 130 gal. acrylic tank that was used and the inside was coated with dead coralline algae. I filled it water and scraped it off but it left a white film on the sides that won't scrape off. Any idea how to to get the film off?

Thanks,

Yep vinegar. The longer its left on before rinsing the better it works. Vinegar being an acid literally dissolves the coralline and any calcium based stuff. Its also totally safe.
