Old Tank, Big Fish

Brilliant tank, good fish looking very healthy and clear water.

the base of the tank is gravel with coloured stones?

i think sand will make it look pro

To Corykid: Holy cow is that a iredescent shark full size....? O-O

HiGhTiMeZ: Thanks, I read they are related to pirranas when I first got them. They make me smile :D

Squawkbert: Actually I recently ordered a clump of java moss just to see what it's like to have a plant the fish will be unlikely to eat that is very easy maintenance. I want to start my 20 gallon tank with real plants and sand cause plastic plants just don't look that great and real plants are much better for the fish anyway. Thanks for the suggestion ^^

Aaron89: The base is a lot of things lol My mom made the tank like how she makes the house, a hodepodge of things. Originally it was purple and black gravel, then she threw in some blue gravel on top of that, then she put in stones, marbles, runes, shells.... you name it. All fishtank safe of course, but in the end she was just making a crazy dissarray. When I set up my 20 gallon I will have it look more naturalistic. As for this tank I don't wanna disturb the fishies so I'll leave it be.

fish_freak: Thank you, I love them too! And they have so many funny ways, they like to swim to the side of the tank you're near and stare at you, and when I put shrimp in the biggest one always goes near the top shyly, then lunges for it and runs away with it in his mouth and the others chase him lol It's very entertaining ^^
