Right now in my 29 gallon I have 5 zebra danios, 1 powder blue dwarf gourami, and 4 platies. They have all been through quarantine.

Right now in quarantine I have 3 corys, 1 platy, 3 glowlight tetras, and 2 zebra danios.

WIll this be too many fish for my 29 gallon with the fish I already have in there?

I was planning on putting the tetras in the 5 gal. with my betta, but thought maybe instead put one cory or oto in there with the betta. Will having the tetras in the 29 gal. be overstocking the tank? THANKS! They still have a week and a half left in quarantine! :)

EDIT: how often do the corys need to be fed their sinking wafers? and when I feed them how many wafers? thanks! :)

that is a small tetra species, so you will be ok in terms of overcrowding. With small tetras you can go by the old 1" rule, although i personally am not a fan of it.

THANKS guys!!! they are cool, but dont move around much yet! I have a lot of cover for them to hide in!

what do you think about one cory or one oto in the five gallon with the betta?

I'm excited because this is my first time keeping tetras!! :D

The cories would be happier together in the group of 3 - I wouldn't separate them. They're highly social within a group.

oh! I didn't mean split up the three! I meant getting another corie for the other tank! :) hehe I guess I should clarify more!

I like ghost shrimp. I tried them a few months ago in a 6 gallon, and they ALL died within a week!!!! They were full of green when I bought them, but then they grew clear! Maybe my tank was too clean?

The white cottony fungus in my tank is being cleaned tomorrow!!! Will the corie or oto control this?
