I was wondering who here has the oldest fish. I have a goldfish that is 15 years old. It is close to 14 inches long and about 3 lbs or more. When I first got my fish Stripe (also with Goldie who died when I was deployed to Iraq) they were less then an inch big. I won them at the fair and we threw them in to a tank outside that the cows drank out of and now Stripe is healthy and so big. He spends his entire time outside in a 150 gallon or a 300 gallon tank with a heater in the winter.

There is a Catfish in my uncles pond that was put there when I was born. It was 6" foot long and was weighed half a pound. It was the only catfish put in the pond. Last year my bestfriend caught a catfish in that same pond that was 4 feet long and weighed 46 pounds.

I'm 22 years old.

I've caught gold fish in the Local river that were about the size of yours. I've heard old war stories about them getting up to 10 pounds.

Until Monday night Debra had a 28 year old 40 lb. Pacu - sudden tragedy- :(

Did she ever figure out what killed them? I remember talk about microbubbles over saturating the water.
